Burgers with Tillamook Cheese 🍔
Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20 blend)
4 slices Tillamook Cheddar cheese
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 brioche buns
Salt and pepper to taste
Lettuce, tomato, pickles (optional)
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
Directions:
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are caramelized and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Set aside.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Tillamook Cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the grill or skillet to melt the cheese.
Toast the brioche buns on the grill or skillet until lightly browned.
Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the buns. Add the cooked patties, caramelized onions, and any additional toppings like lettuce, tomato, or pickles.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
