Avocado Toast 🥑

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados
4 slices of whole-grain bread
1 lime, juiced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for drizzling
Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Toast the slices of whole-grain bread until they are golden brown and crispy.
While the bread is toasting, cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).
Add lime juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado. Mix well.
Spread the avocado mixture evenly onto each slice of toasted bread.
Top with crumbled feta cheese, if using, and drizzle with a little olive oil.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
