Tarta de Santiago 🍰
the tarta de Santiago. A simple gate and a rapid concert, with 5 ingredients. Sans beurre, sans farine and sans laitage, this tarte de Santiago conviendra also benefits from intolerants au gluten and au lactose.
Ingredients:
2 cups almond flour
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
Zest of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Powdered sugar for dusting
Butter or cooking spray (for greasing the pan)
Cross of St. James stencil (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter or cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the almond flour, lemon zest, and ground cinnamon to the egg mixture. Stir until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before removing it.
Once cooled, place the Cross of St. James stencil on top of the cake and dust with powdered sugar. Carefully remove the stencil to reveal the design.
Slice and serve with a dusting of powdered sugar on top.
