Indulge in this creamy and decadent Salmon and Shrimp Alfredo, a perfect blend of rich flavors and tender seafood, all tossed in a luxurious Alfredo sauce.
Ingredients:
1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the salmon pieces and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the salmon.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, dried basil, and dried parsley. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked fettuccine, salmon, and shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
