Classic Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Get a taste of Philly with this epic cheesesteak sandwich – a perfect blend of steak, peppers, and melted cheese! 🥪🔥

Ingredients:

1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
4 hoagie rolls
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: sautéed mushrooms

Directions:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Cook the thinly sliced ribeye steak, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
Add the sautéed onions and peppers back into the skillet with the steak, mixing everything together.
Lay provolone slices on top of the steak mixture and let it melt. Stir to combine.
Slice the hoagie rolls and lightly toast them, then fill with the cheesy steak mixture.
Serve immediately, and enjoy the authentic taste of Philly!
