Cajun Butter Steak
Ingredients:
2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Season both sides of the steaks generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic, parsley, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
Return steaks to the skillet and spoon the melted butter mixture over them. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, basting the steaks with the butter sauce.
Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
