Cheeseburgers🍔🧀
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and onions (optional toppings)
Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional condiments)
Directions:
Prepare the Beef Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form the Patties: Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
Cook the Patties: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the beef patties to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the patties are browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Add the Cheese: During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese.
Assemble the Burgers: Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the buns. Add lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and onions if using. Spread ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise on the top halves of the buns, and close the burgers.
Serve: Serve the cheeseburgers hot with your favorite side dishes like fries, coleslaw, or a fresh salad.
