Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and have released their moisture.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, reduce heat, and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
