Dungeness Crab 🦀

Ingredients:

4 whole Dungeness crabs
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving

Directions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Dungeness crabs and cover. Steam for 12-15 minutes, or until the crabs are bright red and fully cooked.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
Once the crabs are cooked, remove them from the pot and allow them to cool slightly.
Crack the crab shells and remove the meat. Serve the crab meat with the warm garlic butter sauce on the side.
Garnish with lemon wedges and extra parsley if desired.
