Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie Cheesecake
Ingredients:
For the Brownie Layer:
1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients needed for preparation)
For the Cheesecake Layer:
24 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
For the Toppings:
Hot fudge sauce
Whipped cream
Maraschino cherries
Sprinkles
Crushed nuts (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Brownie Layer: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Pour the brownie batter into the pan and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly.
Make the Cheesecake Layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and mix until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and sour cream. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the baked brownie layer.
Bake: Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) and bake the cheesecake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the center is just set. Let the cheesecake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Assemble the Sundae: Once the cheesecake is chilled, remove it from the pan. Drizzle hot fudge sauce over the top, then add whipped cream, sprinkles, cherries, and crushed nuts for the classic sundae feel.
