Loaded Chili Cheese Fries with Melted Cheddar
Ingredients:
1 lb frozen French fries
1 cup chili (homemade or canned)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon jalapeños, sliced (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the French fries package. Cook the fries until golden and crispy.
While the fries are baking, heat the chili in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
Once the fries are cooked, arrange them on a large serving plate.
Pour the hot chili evenly over the fries, followed by a generous sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese.
Place the fries under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
Remove from the oven and garnish with sour cream, chopped green onions, and jalapeños, if desired.
Serve hot and enjoy!
