Pan-Seared Fish Fillet with Lemon Garnish
Ingredients:
2 white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Directions:
Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the fish fillets to the pan.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
Lower the heat and add the butter and minced garlic to the pan. Allow the butter to melt and garlic to soften for 1-2 minutes.
Remove the fish from the skillet and plate. Drizzle the garlic butter over the fish, then garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
Serve hot and enjoy the fresh citrusy flavors of the fish paired with the lemon wedge.
