Ribs with barbecue sauce 🍖🤤🍗🍖🔥
Ingredients:
2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs, then generously coat the ribs with the dry rub on both sides. Pat the rub into the meat.
Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in aluminum foil, making sure they are sealed well.
Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
While the ribs are baking, prepare the barbecue sauce by combining the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until well mixed and heated through, then remove from heat.
After the ribs have cooked, remove them from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Discard any accumulated juices.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Brush the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce on both sides.
Grill the ribs for 5-7 minutes per side, basting with more sauce, until the ribs are slightly charred and caramelized.
Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing into individual ribs.
