Succulent Filet Mignon with Creamy Shrimp and Lobster Sauce
Ingredients:
2 filet mignon steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup lobster meat, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup white wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a hot skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the filet mignon for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Stir in lobster meat and cook for another 2 minutes.
Pour in white wine and lemon juice, allowing the mixture to simmer for 2 minutes.
Add heavy cream and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve the filet mignon topped with the creamy shrimp and lobster sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy.
